This is a business identity designed for a hypothetical Graphic Design studio. I used the word coerce in forming the business name. Coerce means; to force and compel an unwilling person. In this case, the unwilling person would be the general public, and they would be coerced by the powerful designs of this hypothetical design studio!
The ‘c’ was changed to a ‘k’ and the word was separated to read as KO (acronym for knock out) -ERCE, to give connotations of power, and creativity. The banding iron appearance together with the bold italic square shape adds a busy and active dynamic. The stationary was printed on cartridge paper, a thick paper commonly used for drawing and other creative purposes, which not only gave a nice feel in the hands, but also has connotations of creativity.
