Cyrus Restaurant Website
The good people at the soon to be opened Cyrus Restaurant were tired of all the other restaurant websites densely populated with huge sliding banners and full-width paralax images and more images. Their theory was “if people want to see pictures they can go to the gallery”. They wanted something different. Something simple! That communicated the information directly and effectively through concise copy and basic design. They also wanted to be able to edit the website and add news posts themselves.
I used WordPress as the CMS, and designed the humble website based on an existing WordPress theme, greatly improved their logo from it’s flat, amateur and unbalanced beginnings, designed the UX structure, built the website using the theme elements, made further customisations to the theme template files, and implemented the content for this amazing restaurant serving warm hospitality, and delicious Persian and Greek charcoal cuisine
